make time for your growth
I am in passionate pursuit of your goals. I specialize in helping clients untangle and slow down in order to feel more authentic and in control of their lives. I aim to create a supportive space where we can explore how what you think affects what you feel, and how that drives what you do. I love witnessing clients become more connected with their values and grow, despite setbacks and challenges. I enjoy working with teens, helping them foster a validating relationship with themselves and their families.

sow the seeds of change
Effecting real change in your life does not have to be a solo journey and it has to be YOU to take the first step. Reach out to schedule a 15 minute consultation. Starting therapy for the first time or starting a new therapeutic relationship can feel daunting and scary. In order to feel more prepared, consider some of these questions before taking that first step:
-What are your goals for therapy? What do you hope to accomplish?
-What are some things that you like to know about individual therapy? Is there anything that makes you hesitate to begin working with a therapist?
-What level of support are you looking for? Are you hoping to meet once a month in order to check-in? Or are you hoping to meet weekly in order to focus on far-reaching behavioral change?
“The quality of our life depends on what seeds we water in our consciousness.”
- Thich Naht Hanh
“You are the sky. Everything else—it’s just the weather.”

therapist roots.
After earning my bachelor’s degree in English and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy, I worked as a flight attendant. During this time, I discovered my passion for people—their stories, resilience, and strength in challenging circumstances. This realization led me to pursue a master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Since then, I have worked in domestic violence advocacy, juvenile justice, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I’ve truly grown to love. Witnessing the transformative impact of DBT skills in the lives of my clients is a privilege. I emphasize mindfulness in my practice, guiding clients toward a more balanced perspective where they can experience the everyday joys, humor, and beauty in life.
I draw inspiration from the teachings and writings of Thich Nhat Hanh, Pema Chödrön, Melody Beattie, Dr. Marsha Linhan and Joan Didion, who have profoundly influenced my approach to therapy.
